Students

St. John Catholic Elementary School offers many opportunities for students to become involved in our school community. Students are encouraged to become active through our sports activities, clubs, school choir, and events.

Whether students want to contribute to our school's fundraisers, such as our Thanksgiving Food Drive, or our annual Dance-A-Thon, join cross country, track and field or one of our many sports teams, or participate in our performing choir. St. John's has activities for all students to have fun and share their talents. Visit clubs to learn more about the exciting groups you can become involved in.

Our Library Resource Centre is open to students throughout the school day. During the winter, students can grab their favourite book, and snuggle up for some quiet reading time with the Winter Weather Reading Club. Field trips enhance students' learning experiences and reinforce concepts taught in class. This Students section of the website includes information on past school trips that students enjoyed as part of their classroom lessons, as well as events such as TEAM Tuesdays assemblies, which encourage students to collaborate, tolerate individual differences, and show respect towards one another.

Student success is at the core of all that we do at St. John's. We invite students and parents to join in our school's activities, and to take an active part in all that our school has to offer
